Francis William Crake MC (1893 – 28 November 1920) was a British Army and Royal Irish Constabulary officer. He came from Northumberland. Crake was commissioned into the Bedfordshire Regiment during the First World War and reached the rank of Lieutenant. He was the District Inspector commanding a unit of the Royal Irish Constabulary Auxiliary Division based in the town of Macroom in County Cork. He was killed at the Kilmichael Ambush. A partly fictionalised account of this incident appeared in the film ''The Wind That Shakes the Barley''.
